The Giant Panda drinks water from freshwater rivers and streams. They also get water by eating bamboo. Bamboo gets water from underground. The Giant Panda is affected by water because it needs to drink it to survive.

Water pollution is mainly caused by adding additional large amounts of materials to the water such as, toxic substances, manure or sewage, also when land is being cleared the soil goes into the water. You can reduce water pollution by using natural pesticides, use eco-friendly household products, to use less water, and to dispose toxic waste the proper way. You could use more natural resources, anything naturally occurring in the environment that humans use. The Giant Panda gets affected by water pollution because they drink from rivers and streams which causes them to get sick.
